My experience with writing HTML (Hyper Text Markup Language - basic computer language used in design of websites) stems from a period of having far too much time on my hands. I was just home from the rehabilitation hospital after being in a car wreck that left me paralyzed from my chest down. Being limited in what I could do and having watched just about everything on TV that was worth watching, I soon invested in a computer and began surfing the World Wide Web. Fascinated with the various websites I was visiting, it wasn't long before I was tapping into their source codes, learning which commands prompted what I was seeing on the screen. Completely self taught, I began experimenting with writing my own code, starting with just simple hard coding, but soon expanding to more difficult JavaScript and CSS. What began as a hobby, just a way to pass the time, has opened doors to many business opportunities - with assistance from my niece, Taylor, and photo service available, I now design and maintain websites for various local businesses, churches, and area townships. I'd like to do the same for you.
